Governance Reporting Program Manager - Product & Application Security

Location: Remote United States

Dells Product and Application Security team builds and delivers world-class capabilities which infuse security into the development processes and instill a security culture among Dell developers. They enable Dell and our Customers to securely engage in digital transformation by providing Dell development teams the knowledge and capabilities required to ensure that the code developed and integrated in Dell products, applications and services is inherently secure throughout its lifecycle; and they promptly respond to reported vulnerabilities to keep deployed products and applications secure.

What youll achieve

As a Program Manager for Governance Reporting, you will be responsible for supporting all segments across Dell Digital and Dell Product and Operations teams. This will be done by working closely with Security Engagement Mangers and Business Unit security advisors to track the progress and activities of the engineering teams in support of secure development.

As the Program Manager, you will become knowledgeable on the very diverse engineering organizations across Dell Digital and Product & Operations.

You will:

* Work across the Dell engineering teams in conjunction with Product & Application Security colleagues to gather the KPI and data needed to track the security journey of the engineering organizations
* Establish a standardized means of presenting governance readouts to engineering leadership across the company at scale
* Provide engineering leadership with the data they need to adjust resources and investment and make risk-based decisions in support of Dells SDL and Vulnerability Response Standards; help leaders know what they should focus on and what should they be doing that they are not doing today
* Assist in developing a strategy to modify engineering frameworks and practices to better support secure product development
* Establish relationships across Dell Digital and Product teams to strengthen the adoption of our secure development standards and to continue to build trust and positive avenues of communications
* Evaluate the amount of consistency of engagement between PAS and the engineering teams and help to create engagement strategies to raise the level of security maturity across the company
* Prepare and present to executive management the state of product security, with a focus on executive management priorities

Essential Requirements

* 8+ years of experience in Program Management or combination of related experience/education
* Proven knowledge of engineering operations and product lifecycle process, tools and metrics
* Knowledge and familiarity with basic security concepts
* Strong program management skills in a dynamic, complex environment and experience with Agile methodology
* Proven track record of influence with a diverse set of functional disciplines (e.g. Engineering, QA, Services, Product Management) and driving simultaneous programs
* Strong business analytical skills; able to convert data into meaningful useful and actionable information

Desired Requirements

* Bachelors degree in information technology or related field
* Knowledge and experience in SDL (Secure Development Lifecycle) is desirable
* Knowledge and experience with Tableau and PowerBI
* Knowledge of evolving cloud technologies and Dell Enterprise hardware and software
