Manpower is currently seeking a Repair Welder to work for our premier client, Gestamp, in Chelsea. This is a full-time, direct hire position with a two-week paid orientation and a great opportunity to join a fast-growing international company offering great pay and benefits. This position pays $17.75 per hour and is available on all three shifts.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
* Repair/rework welds on various sized parts on the production line.
* Operate assembly and welding machines as needed.
* Complete visual checks to ensure all parts meet quality expectations.
The ideal candidate will have:
* A High School Diploma or GED.
* A minimum of one (1) year of experience in a production/manufacturing facility, preferably for an automotive OEM supplier.
* One (1) year of weld training completed; weld certification is not required for this position.
* Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
