This position is located within the Clinical Trials Division a segment of Pharma Services Group. The Clinical Trials Division is a world leader in global supply chain and biosample management.

How will you make an impact?

An In Process Inspector is responsible for verifying that customer and internal manufacturing design specifications are followed in the creation of clinical label proofs. Responsibilities include label proof inspection and various in process quality checks that are associated with the label design process.

What will you do?

* Verifies that customer and internal manufacturing design specifications are followed in the creation of clinical label proofs and press plate readys.
* Performs 100% inspection of all label proofs and associated document via visual inspection. Understands what constitutes a defective label proof that must be rejected prior to passing to passing to manufacturing.
* Utilizes inspection software program to detect potential label text and documentation errors.
* Communicates with the Group Leader during processing, and follows job completion.
* Maintains official documentation related to errors and trending for In Process Inspection & Label Design
* Advises management to needs associated with increased efficiencies and quality.
* Oversees the release and approval of approved documents within the department for customer final approval.
* Provide suggestions and improvements to the department regarding work-related processes and procedures.
* Troubleshoots technical problems within the department and recommends solutions.
* Provides feedback to Project Managers, Associate Project Manager, and Label Designers regarding how jobs are set up and status of inspections on the daily work schedule.
* Assist with organizing, revising, and implementing SOP2019s, WI2019s, and Maser Forms.
* Applies Good Manufacturing Principles in all areas of responsibility.
* Demonstrates and drives the Thermo Fisher values 2013 Integrity, Intensity, Involvement and Innovation (The Four I2019s).
* Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner.
* Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

How will you get here?

Education

* High School Diploma or GED

Experience

* 1+ years2019 experience in a quality/ GMP environment.
* Computer Literate.
* Ability to perform basic mathematical calculation with the assistance of a calculator.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

* Comprehension of label and customer specifications.
* Execute measurements using a ruler.
* Ability to manage timelines.
* Works well in a high paced, high pressure environment.
* Open to change
