Optum's Provider Product team is building a team of experienced, disciplined, product leaders to drive the future of the product portfolio for OptumInsight. These experts will deeply understand clients' challenges, modernizing infrastructure, advancing care and how to translate those challenges to a product strategy, roadmap and execution.
Specifically, the provider product team will be accountable for modernizing existing portfolio products, integrating together disparate capabilities and operations today and identifying gaps in the overall portfolio to address our client needs.
Product Leads require have a background in product development and lifecycle management. They will be primarily accountable for developing product and portfolio strategy, building and maintaining the product roadmap and planning and designing the product development. In addition to those primary accountabilities, these leaders will support the market research and identifying the gaps in Optum's overall provider portfolio. This role will include accountability in managing the product reporting and capital management in partnership with the provider business unit.
The Provider Optum Physician Advisor Solutions (OPAS) Product Lead will be specifically accountable for partnering with Application Development, OPAS Operations, and client-facing stakeholders to ensure that the client experience for both the OPAS Physician Review Service and Case Advisor software is market leading and delivering optimal client value. This lead will work within the matrixed product organization to ensure Optum has a best-in-class experience for all OPAS solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:
* Create and maintain compelling product roadmap by finding the right balance between client (both buyers and users) needs and internal business priorities
* Partner with engineering to build and deliver world class product capabilities in an agile setup using build-measure-learn approach including prioritized backlog, user story creation, reviewing process performance
* Serve as Subject Matter Expert for the domain owning competitive intelligence
* Work with internal and external stakeholders to uncover opportunities for improvement
* Work with senior management and other product managers in the group to refine and hone broader portfolio strategy and convey the same to the engineering teams
* Partner and manage various vendors that support our portfolio

Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree
* 6+ years' experience in health care
* 5+ years' experience in product management, business development, strategic consulting, or other professional services
