The Director, UHC Strategic Partnerships will support the management of our E&I UHC portfolio across OptumHealth's Complex Medical Conditions within Health Services businesses. In this role, the Director will support co-creation of products & solutions between OptumHealth and E&I, driving an established operating model and cadence to ensure growth and management of business with UHC. The Director will engage in delivery of annual plans and quarterly updates, product roadmaps and correlating delivery & performance management. This position will provide clear and open communication and documentation to ensure awareness & alignment on deliverables, goals, and measurement. In order to delivery successful change, the team will work closely with the OptumHealth Product and Enterprise Clinical Services Operations teams to drive internal collaboration & alignment while maintaining engagement with all UHC E&I to drive an optimal partnership.

Primary Responsibilities:
Support Growth and Innovation
* Partner with Portfolio Leader to enhance E&I product delivery and to identify new paths for growth
* Develop and lead digital evolution for Complex Medical Condition products
Drive Performance through Strategic Partnerships Operating Discipline
* Manage E&I performance of assigned product areas
* Drive timely issue resolution and remediation
* Manage all key partner governance (meetings, plans, documents)
* Develop as SME in assigned condition areas, including specialized utilization management and care management

Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree
* 5+ years of combined experience in one or more of the following areas: health plan or healthcare account management or strategic account management, health plan experience, health services product management, healthcare strategy or consulting
* Experience developing client value reporting and executive presentations, managing performance reporting regarding product performance, and driving greater levels of performance
* Experience and strong ability to read, interpret, and analyze data and financials. Understanding of implications of deep clinical concepts

Preferred Qualifications:
* Graduate degree (MBA, MHA)
* Consulting experience or experience leading broad and high visibility problem analysis and product solutioning with a diverse set of stakeholders
* Experience working with or within UnitedHealthcare
* Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to dynamic customer needs, wants, requirements
* Active relationships with external stakeholder groups/organizations that are oriented to healthcare, medical, social, policy, or other focal areas that are insightful for population health related products
