Job Description

GDIT Technology Shared Services (TSS) is seeking a Microsoft Exchange Online/Teams Engineer with experience in the implementation of, and the migration to, Microsoft365 (M365; Exchange Online and Microsoft Teams). This candidate will be responsible for the availability of Exchange Online and Teams environments. This candidate will also support user migration from current on-premise Exchange 2016 and Skype for Business 2015 solutions.

Primary responsibilities include:
* Ensuring the availability, accessibility, and functionality of Exchange Online and Microsoft Teams

* Support deployment of M365 infrastructure as required

* Work with current staff on migration of users to Exchange Online/Microsoft Teams

* Handle technical related escalations from system administrators and project staff

* Understand and support the end user experience through service desk coordination and enablement of request and restoration activities

* Participate in discussions to coordinate integration and migration planning

Required Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience in lieu of degree

* 5+ years of experience in Information Technology

* 3-5 years of Exchange Online and Microsoft Teams support experience

* Prior experience with Exchange on-premise to Exchange Online migrations

* Prior experience with Skype for Business 2015 to Microsoft Teams migrations

* Prior hands on experience supporting solutions with Microsoft Azure AD and AD Connect

* Prior experience deploying and supporting an Exchange Hybrid configuration

* Prior experience implementing mail routing mail routing with M365

* Prior experience deploying and supporting Azure AD Connect

* Prior experience supporting Microsoft Teams

* Prior experience with SharePoint Online as related to Microsoft Teams

The likely salary range for this position is $92,000 - $138,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
