Summary & Role Information

We are looking for an experienced Development Architect to drive the architectural design of the SAP One Domain Model (ODM) in collaboration with a skilled team. ODM covers not just a single solution but the entire set of applications making up SAP's Intelligent Enterprise.

As a member of our team, you will ...

* discuss, align and decide on ODM modelling guidelines (e.g. how to model temporal data, hierarchies, inheritance, industry and customer extensions, how to support independent evolution and loose coupling)
* collaborate closely with developers and architects from the business technology platform and all lines of businesses to come to a feasible and adoptable architectural concept
* look outside what others are doing in this domain, and what standards, technologies and trends are relevant
* document design decision and rationales in architecture concept documents, architectural design records, and guidelines

Role Requirements

* Ability to drive a complex topic towards decisions and impact
* Strong analytic skills and ability to think abstractly
* 10+ years of experience in application development
* Experience in business application modelling and development to evaluate how things will work out in practice
* Experience in Domain-Driven Design is beneficial
* Interest and experience with patterns, models and metamodels
* Ability to do architectural documentations
* Enjoying teamwork and dealing with people combined with good communication skills
* Fluent in English and German
