Under the direction of the supervisor, the employee in this classification performs various duties in connection with the building and grounds. Operates forklift, sweeper and other equipment to move materials (including hazardous waste), organize, clean, and maintain the condition of the plant or safety, operational, environmental and housekeeping purposes which may require minor maintenance duties. He/she works closely with other Buildings and Grounds Attendant as necessary and will operate lawn mower and tractor as needed.
Employee does other work as outlined by department supervisor.
Physical Requirements Include:
Must be able to lift materials weighing 25-50 pounds on a regular basis
Basic Qualifications:
Must be able to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must have reliable transportation to and from work
Must be legally authorized to work in the country for which you are applying for employment without now or in the future needing sponsorship for employment visa status
Must have a high school diploma, GED certificate, or equivalent
Must be able to work with simple arithmetic, fractions and decimals
Must have forklift experience
Other Qualifications:
Ability to learn and chart SPC Data
