Become a Business Planning Advisor working with Customer Service at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job you will lead efforts to build out and maintain Customer Service Operating Plans which provides a five-year forecast of key activities, resource needs and associated investments. Operating Plans allow for an integrated view of work efforts across CSs portfolio of activities, which amounts to over $700M of spend, used for business operations, budgets, and support in the financial aspects of SCEs key regulatory filings (e.g. General Rate Case).

A day in the life - Get ready to think big, work smart and shine bright!

* Provide leadership, oversight, facilitation, subject matter expertise and coordination of Operational & Financial Performance against plan for divisional work completed
* Connect work completed to costs or commitments incurred
* Provide key input and coordination for the CS strategic plan
* Coordinate with the business division on behalf of Customer Service Business Planning
* Provide subject matter expertise during regulatory cycles in partnership with the business division
* Consult on FRM requests and ensures forecasts and operating plans are updated as necessary
* Channel topics to CS or SCE governing bodies, as appropriate
* Develop strong relationships with critical stakeholders in the business division
* Develop and present materials to senior and executive leadership on behalf of Business Planning
* Perform scenario analysis on operational and financial issues
* Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications
The Essentials

* Four years of project management experience
* Seven years combined experience with operational planning, business performance measurement and reporting, statistical or financial modeling
* Three years of experience utilizing Microsoft excel for planning related work.

The Preferred

* Bachelors degree or higher in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Computer science, Mathematics, or related analytical degrees Experience developing and delivering technical presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences
* Experience in identifying customer and business problems, developing viable solutions and plans and managing resources and stakeholder expectations to execute plans
* Training and experience in continuous improvement techniques
* Presenting to and influencing management
* Experience with resource and project planning
* Experience with integrating work across the organization
* Experience with PowerBI, PowerBI Pro, or similar tools
