The Digital Marketing and eCommerce team, within our Technology and Solutions organization, is seeking a Senior Developer for the Core Sites team. The Core Sites team is responsible for delivering the largest General Mills brand websites - such as BettyCrocker.com and Pillsbury.com with millions of users and half of billion pageviews every year. We are looking for candidates who enjoy working on product-focused teams and solving new and difficult problems at scale.
REQUIRED SKILLS
* Passion for learning new technologies and solving challenging problems
* Team player with good communication skills
* 5+ years of development experience based on Microsoft platform, including ASP.NET and C
* Experience with Azure Cloud Hosting environment
* Experience in web front-end development including JavaScript and front-end frameworks
* Strong understanding of OO design and principles
* Good understanding of CI, CD, TDD and tools such as Jenkins
* Agile software development experience such as Kanban and Scrum
* Experience in software version control team practices and tools such as GIT and TFS
* Ability to mentor others and lead the team in technology and best practices
* BA/BS or equivalent experience
PREFERRED SKILLS
* Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) such as Sitecore
* Experience with RDBMS such as SQL Server, T-SQL, Document Databases, and ElasticSearch
* Exposure to public facing, high-traffic web sites
* Exposure to service-oriented architecture
