POSITION SUMMARY

BorgWarner is currently looking for a dynamic, results driven individual to join as a Maintenance Engineer at our Aftermarket Remanufacturing Plant in Troy, MI.

This person will primarily be responsible for ensuring that all production related equipment is working to optimum efficiency and participating with the engineering team to develop test equipment and process requirements for new programs.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

* Ensuring all production related equipment is working to optimum efficiency
* Troubleshoot & repair equipment as necessary. This includes Industrial Electric as well as Hydro mechanical systems.
* Good knowledge of Pneumatic, Hydraulic circuits and components related to these circuits
* Good sound understanding of Electrical panel high and low voltage
* Responsible for maintenance pass off of new plant purchase
* Develop effective Predictive/Preventative maintenance system for all equipment
* Participate with Engineering Team to develop test equipment and process requirements for new programs.
* Create Validation plans for new equipment
* Ensure new equipment meets Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) requirement.
* Ensuring staff compliant with all EH&S rules &practices and all company practices, policies and established rules.
* Ensure cleanliness of production floor and equipment (5S) and adherence to all maintenance requirements.
* Facility runs 24/7must be available if necessary

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

* PLC ladder logic experience Siemens, Allen Bradley
* Understanding of low voltage signal measurements. Ability to use oscilloscope if possible
* Experience with Hydro Mechanical/ Electrical systems and repair.
* Ability to read Blue Prints and Schematics
* Effective problem solving
* Work well with minimum supervision
* Ability to read and understand Latter logic

This individual will work in manners that stress the importance of preventing accidents and illnesses. He/she must take every precaution reasonable in the given circumstance for the protection of themselves and coworkers. In addition, he/she is responsible for reporting all injuries and/or possible dangerous situations, incidents, or occurrences to the immediate supervisor.
