Pediatric Hospitalist Opportunity Full Time- Ocala, Florida - AdventHealth Ocala

AdventHealth for Children and AdventHealth Medical Group are looking for dynamic and energetic pediatric hospitalists to join our team. This full time, inpatient only position would be located at AdventHealth Ocala, formerly Florida Hospital Ocala.

Working in association with a fully committed children's hospital network across the state, a strong employed physician multi-specialty group, a balanced schedule, and a competitive benefits/ compensation package are just a few of the many reasons why this is an excellent career opportunity to consider. Coverage would include in house as well as call. Physicians would need to be comfortable with general pediatric patients and attending high risk deliveries as well as well newborn care and be proficient with procedures such as circumcisions and intubations. The newborn service is supported by a level 2 NICU, staffed by experienced neonatologists, who will be available on call for high risk deliveries.

Requirements of the position: Board Certification/Eligible American Board of Pediatrics. NRP and PALS certified.

Our Walt Disney Pavilion at AdventHealth for Children in Orlando is a full service, tertiary childrens hospital with over 200 dedicated pediatric beds, including a 22 bed PICU, 10 bed Cardiac ICU, a 102 bed NICU, 17 bed pediatric emergency department and statewide pediatric network and transport system. We started our comprehensive pediatric open-heart program in 2012 and have a strong track record of positive outcomes. We also have several key destination programs including our level IV Epilepsy program, and we increased Orlando area NICU beds to 150 total in 2017.
