As the Senior Analyst, Financial Planning and Analysis, you will partner with assigned corporate department leaders by preparing financial reports, analyses, and forecasts, and working with key stakeholders to achieve objectives. In this role, youll have the ability to positively affect XPOs future through advice and counsel while creating long-term success for the company and for yourself.

What youll do on a typical day:

* Assist in the budgeting, planning, and forecasting processes
* Generate, maintain, and ensure accuracy of financial and operational reports as part of the weekly/monthly financial review process.
* Develop tools for early identification of cost-savings opportunities and make recommendations
* Complete ad hoc reporting to support multiple stakeholders balancing their needs and perspectives to maximize the companys interests
* Conduct operational, compliance, and financial audits as assigned.
* Support Audit Recovery Team through identification of issues within third party portals and research within internal transportation management system.
* Manage relationship with Shared Services including support on customer remittances.

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, youll need:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
* 2 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), including budgeting and forecasting experience
* Experience with Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills with the ability to create complex formulas

Itd be great if you also have:

* Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to various user groups
* Ability to think critically and leverage available resources to troubleshoot reporting issues and data anomalies
* Strong drive to seek continuous improvement in reports and processes during companywide growth and expansion
