Southern Industrial is currently looking for an HR Analyst for our Raleigh, NC office.
Responsible for collecting, compiling and analyzing HR Data, metrics and statistics and will use this data to make recommendations related to recruitment, retention and legal compliance. Will be responsible to complete compliance with applicable Federal, State and local laws as well las company policies as it relates to compliance regulations.
Essential Functions/Duties:
* Manage leaves (disability, FMLA, etc.).
* Administers the Covid policy and leave related to Covid.
* Completes and/or verifies information on forms submitted by employees.
* Research, analyze and integrate data to provide information on human resource programs.
* Assist the Benefits Manager with benefits administration when needed.
* Generate labor and benefit reports as needed.
* Prepares government reports (OFCCP, ADA, Affirmative Action, EEO-1, etc.).
* Updates electronic employment records as they related to pay and benefits.
* Analyze HR data, metrics and statistics to make recommendations for various human resource programs.
* Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in accounting, business or mathematics preferred.
* Knowledge and understanding of business policies and procedures.
* Skill in analyzing and evaluating various HR related issues.
* Payroll or accounting experience preferred.
* Knowledge of computerized information systems used in human resources applications.
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals within the organization.
* Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, etc.).
* Research, analytical and critical thinking skills.
* Ability to plan, coordinate and administer complex administrative systems and processes.
