About the Role:

This position is responsible for a variety of tasks related to the security and safety operations at various SBD locations, which include office space, manufacturing sites, warehouse space and service centers. The SBD Security & Safety Services team provides security / safety / executive operations / and guidance to SBD business units. This position reports into the Vice President of Security Operations and will work with various SBD employees at various locations, Asset Protection professionals, local law enforcement and outside consultants as, and if required. The primary objective of this position is to supervise the Security & Safety functions, and to safeguard assigned SBD facility / grounds, executive employees and be a First Responder in a crisis situation. This position may require some travel, working non-business hours and potentially weekends.

Job Responsibilities:

* Security & Safety Services at designated locations.
* Visitor Management.
* Monitoring CCTV, security and fire suppression systems.
* Patrolling and securing areas inside and outside the facilities.
* Documenting security and safety related incidents.
* Manage 3rd party security services at identified locations.
* Manage proprietary Security & Safety Services Personnel.
* Variety of ancillary duties, to primarily include perimeter protection, protective leadership, and effective operational and logistical coordination are core duty requirements.
* Executive Office Visitor Escorts.
* First Responder to a Crisis Situation.
* Provide First Aid / CPR / AED.
* Training of SBD personnel in various security/safety related topics.

Minimum Requirements/Competencies:

* Associate or Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice / Loss Prevention / Security related field (strongly preferred), or currently working towards a related degree.
* Tactical Law Enforcement experience strongly preferred.
* Extraordinary physical fitness is essential and proficiency in a martial art and / or other defensive skill is desirable.
* CPR / AED / First Aid Training.
* Strategic thinker to identify and minimize exposure to global emerging trends and threats as they relate to assigned locations.
* Strong leadership skills including: effective oral and written communication, issue resolution, negotiation, motivating others, collaborative, team player, ability to deal with obstacles and partner with senior management to identify / solve problems.
* Oversee security & safety related projects and planning at assigned locations.
* Microsoft Office computer skills including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
* Successful completion of a pre-employment criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, drug screen, and psychological screening process is required.
* Must be able to pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing.
* Have a valid driver's license, and clean driving history if driving a company-owned vehicle.
