In order to give comprehensive and delightful user experience, search engine evolves from web search to more and more structured content. Bing Answer team have the mission to provide unique user experience on different kind of structured data content to satisfy user need. such as Covid tracking, stock information, election results/news, recipe, QnA, etc. Millions of users consume the experiences we build daily and it has a meaningful impact on their lives. This is in line with our company mission to empower every individual and organization on the planet to achieve more. We are looking for a software engineer who's passionate about developing user facing products with millions of daily active users all over the world.

The team works on Bing full stack, including data ingestion, service, front end, query understanding, query intent detection. You will have opportunity to work on any of those components including state-of-art technology.

* Work with multiple partner teams to develop and improve cohesive services.
* Design with focus on reliability and resiliency.
* Flight code changes, drive telemetry, and analyze results to understand customer impact.
* Mitigate live site issue and dig into the root cause for system improvement.
* Support and influence the team culture of being customer centric and continuously improving.
* Support a learning environment by influencing and mentoring junior engineers.

Required Qualifications:

1+ years of industry experience (non internship) with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Java, C/C++, C, Python, JavaScript
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical field experience

Preferred Qualifications:

2+ years of experience with running and working on services backend or frontend at scale.
2+ years of experience in C developing, debugging, and maintaining code.
Experience of developing on Azure or other cloud providers.
