St Francis Hospital

Coordinates the daily clinical operations of the Multi-Specialty practice. Ensures all physicians are staffed adequately, receives call outs and coordinates coverage for the area. Ensures next day as well as the next weeks schedule is completed and updated as needed. Assists with training new employees on the EMR, the processes for the provider the employee is assigned to and assists with skills check off. Triage calls from patients and cover in areas as needed. Coordinate registration and requirements for MAs to take Registry or Certification tests. Perform exam room check offs, procedure logbook check offs, scribe with physicians, assist with diabetes education with patients and represent the Clinic a various marketing venues.

Job Requirements

Minimum Education
High school diploma or equivalent required

Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to workwith minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment andtake appropriate action.
Certifications
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) preferred

Minimum WorkExperience
Five (5) years CMA experience preferred; Two (2) years in as a Team Leaderpreferred
