Intel's Programmable Solution Group (PSG) is responsible for designing the state-of-the-art FPGAs/SoCs. We envision the future of computing and design for the next generation in many vertical domains such as Wireline, Wireless, Data Centers, etc.

Our team is looking for a senior level SoC PDE (Physical Design Engineer). In this role, you will research, design, develop, and test lead Intel designs as we re-imagine how to build SoCs at Intel. Your scope of work may include, but not be limited to:

* SoC Design integration Methodology - RTL2GDS, Clock design Methodology, Power delivery, Performance Verification

* Provide technical direction to, and collaborate with, platform and business units.

* Drive performance optimization, including co-optimization work with process teams, to create best-in-class designs Physical synthesis, place and Route, and clock tree synthesis

* Static timing analysis, constraint understanding, generation, clock stamping, and timing closure Multiple Power Domain analysis using standard Power Formats UPF/CPF Place and Route and clock tree synthesis, Design signoff and hand off to the Mask Shop.

Qualifications

You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience.

* 7+ years of experience with Physical Design and TCL

* Bachelors degree in in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or any related field

Preferred Qualifications

* 10+ years of experience in Physical Design, Perl, Unix Shell Script
