In this role, you will support the Category and Business Development of HPs Peripherals Portfolio. Here, we partner with teams across the globe to maximize our digital interaction and evolve the business model to drive sales, revenue and most importantly, a frictionless customer experience.

In this role, you will report to the Head of Peripherals Category and Business Development. As a Market Manager for Peripherals, you will lead a team of resources to help position a wide range of interesting and next generation products to our customers and partners. Your leadership will help to shape the plans and guidance to sales teams, our route to market strategies and grow the value of HPs Peripherals positioning.

Location: Remote - US

Responsibilities:

* Broad understanding of the category product, business management and sales challenges and strategies.

* Actively contributes to the definition of the category business plan.

* Establishes relationships and represents team with sales force and other partners at senior level.

* Product line and quota responsibility for a significant share of the product range, or a specific customer segment.

* Functional responsibility for the team in one or several areas (market analysis, marketing engagement, SF communication etc).

* May participate in partnership with external IT vendor.

* Crafts pursuit strategies that masterfully guide account team pursuit activities across often lengthy sales cycles.

* Leads and manages a virtual team across the geographic area to drive the business development activities and report on a regular basis the progress on growth

* Researches market, technology and consumer trends and analyzes how exogenous trends will impact business and portfolio choices in future

* Provides thought leadership and contributes to expanding the knowledge base within area of expertise which includes developing new methods, techniques and criteria for developing strategy analysis and recommendations.

* Consults with business executives on a wide range of issues related to the strategy formulation process, including risk management and new growth opportunities.

* Dotted line reporting to Country CCMs, with ability to work within a matrix, driving for collaboration, clarity and results

* Enhance HP share of voice and optimize customer journey through digital knowledge and online ecosystem proficiency

Education and Experience Required:

* University or Bachelors degree in Marketing or Finance.

* Typically 5-8 years of professional experience with a combination of Marketing, Sales, Business Planning experience preferred.

* Consumer and/or Commercial Partner management expertise/ End User Acct management as an alternative.

Knowledge and Skills:

* IT industry knowledge.

* Business planning skills, multidimensional.

* Financial planning and modelling skills, comfortable to manage high complexity business planning and reporting.

* Strong communication skills at senior management internally and externally.

* Knowledge of promotional marketing processes and practices.

* Experience in value-add & consultative selling

* Negotiation skills and ability to frame the product value proposition to customers/partners.

* Leadership skills and cross functional expertise (sales, supply chain, marketing)

* Managing a complex category with multiple financial models, sales motions, markets and customer types

* Driving standardization and effectiveness at the country level

* Strong financial and marketing skills to identify areas to realize growth

* Strong Value Added Selling Acumen
