The VP of Strategy, Innovation and Insights will be an inspirational leader responsible for development of the long-term strategic trajectory for the Coca-Cola a s business in North America (US and Canada) as well as coordinating the business plans to achieve that long term vision. They will marshal knowledge and insights resources as well as connect to innovation and other company resources to deliver innovation and an exclusive value bundle.

At least 12+ years of strategy development, insights to action and commercial as well as customer experience required.

This role will provide direct leadership to a small, high performing team as well as indirect with key cross-functional partners.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* STRATEGY: Be able to set strategic direction from industry, customer, Coca-Cola, and other insights. Will set the long-term strategic forecast. Be able to assemble and articulate this strategy clearly and with confidence and rigor. Lead the development of the optimal value bundle for the customers consumer including brands, packaging and equipment solutions.
* INSIGHTS: Develop insights that can lead to short, medium, and long-term growth in the area of consumer, industry, beverage, and customer work. Quickly assimilate these insights to feed into the regional beverage strategies and actions. Will also lead research on timely relevant initiatives. Steward insights to action with customer.
* ANALYSIS: Work in partnership across other functions to develop dashboards that are replicable, scalable and modular tools that can dramatically improve our access to metrics. Have ongoing analysis for programs including Value, Regional Dashboards, Promotions Tracking, Volume, Revenue, and Brand and Category Performance. Enable a general management approach across the NA organization.
* INNOVATION: Set strategic direction for innovation development overall, based on consumer insights. Identify new and underdeveloped product and other opportunities, or improvements to existing product, and incorporate into tactical plan by using relevant data and information (e.g. information gathered during situation assessment, consumer tracking scores, custom market research, flavor trend analyses) in order to achieve customer and company objectives (e.g. bringing in new users, convincing lapsed users to return to your brands). Support business case development for new innovations at the NA and global level. Work cross functionally with R&D, supply chain and other internal and external partners in partnership with the customer.
* STEWARDSHIP: Lead strategic discussions with the Sr. Customer call points at headquarters.
* ORGANIZATION DEVELOPMENT: Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to develop tools and frameworks to support the organizations ability to understand and deploy the insights in order to drive strategically sound, consumer insight-based marketplace actions.

EXPERIENCE:

At least 12+ years of strategy development, insights to action and commercial as well as customer experience required. Previous team leadership also required.
