What Talent Acquisition contributes to Cardinal Health

Talent Acquisition is responsible for sourcing, assessing, and driving the selection of talent to support business needs.

* Proactively and creatively sources, leads and screens candidates to develop pools of talent for all positions across Cardinal Health.
* Assesses candidates through competency-based screening, ensuring only qualified candidates are referred.
* Creates a positive candidate experience.
* Ensures the maintenance of accurate and concise records and reports concerning all phases of the recruitment process.

Accountabilities

* This open position will primarily support Director and above open positions and will also support some Manager level roles
* Responsible for developing the search strategy, including gathering competitor data, industry trends, and labor market conditions and translate these to successful search strategies to be presented to senior leaders
* Advanced sourcing (including but not limited to proactive networking, internet searching, cold calling, resume mining, database searching, etc.) is required for nearly all open positions
* Partnership with hiring managers, HR leaders and other internal customers through the recruiting, offer design, negotiation and hiring process

Qualifications

* Bachelors in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
* 5 7 years minimum recruiting experience in full life cycle recruiting environment. One year of experience in retained search or recruiting executive level talent at a Fortune 500 company environment, preferred
* Prior experience recruiting for professional level roles including, but not limited to, sales, marketing, accounting/finance, information technology, or clinical areas highly preferred
* Strategic, independent and progressive thinker
* Consultative with the ability to influence others
* Ability to recruit and successfully close passive candidates
* Strong interpersonal, time management and verbal communication skills as well as sound presentation skills
* Ability to establish effective partnerships internally and externally, at all organizational levels and across boundaries
* Exhibits excellent client relationship skills; communicates proactively and consistently with hiring managers and candidates
* Certified Internet Recruiter (CIR), preferred
* Advanced Internet Recruiting Strategies (AIRS), preferred
