Crafting the right network, with the right equipment and software, requires a combination of technical skill and careful planning. Thats why we need you, a network engineer who knows how to craft the exact network the Navy, needs.
As a network engineer on our team, youll help the Navy, design, and build a reliable network to support critical missions. Youll work with our government clients to learn the strategic goals and operational needs that shape the network requirements. Youll then plan the acquisition, installation, configuration, and maintenance of the network components. From resolving interoperability issues across platforms, to supporting the acquisition of hardware, youll put your hardware and software talents to good use. You Have:
-4+ years of experience with wireless and networking in end-to-end engineering and the business capacities needed to deploy mobile capabilities
-4+ years of experience with conducting WLAN enterprise site surveys and network designs
-4+ years of experience with routing and switching fundamentals
-Experience with various WLAN topologies, including indoor, outdoor, high-density, campus, mesh, remote, and industrial
-Experience with WLAN survey tools
-Experience with wireless intrusion detection and prevention systems
-Ability to be a self-starter and work independently, communicate readily, and coordinate and consult with greater internal and client teams to drive solutions towards completion and implementation
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree
-IAT Level II Security+ CE Certification
Nice If You Have:
-Experience with AAA and identity-based access solutions for WLAN deployments
-Knowledge of PKI implementation, including X.509 certificates and certificate authorities
-Ability to regularly monitor new WLAN and mobile technology in addition to vendor and industry landscape
-Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills to develop technical briefs and convey complex technical topics to a diverse audience
-Top Secret clearance
-Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA) or Certified Wireless Security Professional (CWSP) Certification
