Job Description

The Optima Solutions Certified Service Professional works to support and service one or multiple accounts for automotive coatings. This individual will work independent on multiple adhesives and sealants systems. The A&S CSP must be extremely well versed in Adhesives and Sealant products, customer application, environmental issues and processes related to the application.

Role Description:

* Builds and maintains strong customer relationships at all levels
* Provides timely resolution to customers concerns, and quickly troubleshoot problems
* Reviews vehicles and aid customer in resolving issues related to product appearance, color, and performance
* Reviews process conformance independently suggests adjustments as needed
* Communicates issues internally to PPG and to the customer effectively and in a timely manner
* Oversee management of inventory programs at a customer location
* Utilizes BPI and DMAIC processes to problem solve and improve processes
* Understands project requirements and maintains good documentation, including participation in product launches and trials.
* Identifies need for internal and external expertise and makes effort to gain that support
* Participate in the testing of coatings technology
* Responsible for A&S within customer site, or potentially with multiple sites

Specific Requirements beyond Band Profile / Job Title Expectations:

* Required travel: < 10% if based at a customer site or constant travel if covering multiple sites
* Advanced knowledge of Adhesive and Sealant application required
