Job Description

As a Financial Analyst you will serve as a key partner to government contract accounting functions across five locations within PPG Aerospace

Key Responsibilities:

* Financial Analysis activities such as Cost based billings, Incremental Labor Data tracking, Incremental Cost tracking and Indirect Rate Calculations
* Support audit and proposal activities in conjunction with the Government contract accounting team
* Numerous Ad Hoc analysis and support projects
* Assist in finding opportunities and driving improvements in the areas of data integrity and financial reporting
* Grow knowledge base around governmental regulations related to cost reporting for government-funded contracts

Qualifications:

* Bachelors degree in accounting is required
* Minimum of 2 years in a financial or accounting position in manufacturing or public accounting
* High proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint
* Familiarity with use of large scale ERP systems, such as SAP, Oracle or QAD is preferred
* Experience with Government Contract Accounting Compliance (FAR, CAS) is a plus
* Ability to collaborate and communicate openly in the team
