The Payload and Ground Systems (PGS) division of Northrop Grumman 39;s Space Systems sector seeks team members who want to solve interesting, complex problems which protect our nation. What you rsquo;ll get to do:
The Ground Segment (GS) Systems Engineering (SE) Lead is the cost account manager and team lead for the GS System Engineering sub-IPT reporting to the NGP Ground Director. The SE lead manages all personnel within the Ground SE group and integrates into the NGP Program federated system engineering organization supporting the Program Chief Engineer and a member of the program SE council. The GS SE Lead has extensive experience with SE processes and will lead the GS through major GS reviews in Phase 1 including element SDR, PDR and CDR. The GS SE Lead is responsible for the development of GS SE products (e.g. CDRLs) and coordinates SE support with Program SE. The GS SE Lead will champion a scaled Agile framework and serve as a Product Manager of SE work products. As a Product Manager, the GS SE Lead will interact with Product Owners of the cross-functional teams through task orders (TOs) for the completion of work products. The Ground SE lead will be a key interface with customer and external stakeholder to ensure NGP Ground success.

Qualification
Basic Qualifications:
* 14 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor of Science degree; 12 years of relevant experience with a Masters 39; degree; 9 years of relevant experience with a PhD
* Experience managing systems engineering teams
* CAM experience/certification and Earned Value experience
* Experience with program reviews (e.g. PDR, CDR, and sell-off)
* Proficient with systems engineering processes (e.g. Requirements decomposition, TBX tracking, change management)
* Proficient with requirements and verification processes
* Active DOD Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
* Active DOD Top Secret clearance with SCI access
* Experience with segment sell-off
* Experience with Agile Systems Engineering and Agile DevSecOps and Agile EVMS
* Experience with System Operations
* Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering
* Experience writing proposal BOEs and Tech Volume content
* Familiarity with Ground Systems (Ground Software, Operation Centers, and Ground Terminals)
