Summary

This position consults and collaborates with HR partners and business leaders on all aspects of Marathons compensation programs. Responds to client needs and provides proactive solutions that address business requirements. Develops and leads compensation projects and programs that ensure pay practices are competitive and meet business objectives.

Responsibilities

* Provides consultative services and support to assigned client groups on all aspects of Marathons compensation programs.
* Responds to client requests including salary recommendations, job evaluations, internal compensation reviews, reporting and analysis, and other compensation related needs.
* Reviews, updates, and maintains job descriptions and maintains job related content in Human Capital Management and other systems.
* Performs job evaluations for new, existing, or re-defined jobs to determine grade assignments, FLSA exemption status, and incentive eligibility.
* Conducts regular and ad-hoc analysis of third-party compensation survey data to ensure competitiveness with the external market.
* Supports the annual compensation planning cycle and administration including merit and incentive pay administration.
* May have program management ownership for one or more compensation programs or pay practices.

Requirements

* Minimum Bachelors degree
* 4 or more years of compensation or relevant Human Resources experience
* CCP and/or PHR a plus
* Ability to build and maintain trusted working relationships
* Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to conveying information clearly and concisely
* Ability to effectively influence and gain acceptance of ideas, plans, and priorities
