Job Description:

CT technologists utilize computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-section images of patients internal organs and tissues for the diagnosis of medical issues. A CT scan technician must be able to accurately interpret a physicians scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate the CT scan equipment and position the patient to capture the appropriate images. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees. Organizes work flow by coordinating CT Scan exams with those of other departments to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications

* FL State License as General Radiographer
* American Registry of Radiologic Technologist, Advanced Certification CT ARRT (R)(CT)
* Basic Life Support CPR with American Heart Association
* Graduate of an Accredited program in Radiologic Technology
