Overview
Mission Hospital is seeking a qualified CT Technologist who is interested in serving patients in western North Carolina and joining our team of dedicated Imaging professionals!
JOB SUMMARY: Performs a variety of CT (comuted tomography) scan procedures, invasive and non-invasive on a variety of patients. In doing so, the technologist is required to utilize sterile technique if necessary, operate complex radiographic equipment and assist physicians as needed. The technologist is responsible for the manipulation of computer data and images for interpretation, and reproducing them on film for permanent storage, and /or utilization of a networking system. This position will function without constant supervision. Independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative are essential.
Requirements:
* Graduate of JRCERT accredited School of Radiography
* ARRT registered in Computed Tomography. BLS certified.
* Two years previous experience in a multi-disciplined Radiology Department.
Work Schedule: PRN
