This dynamic role requires a person who can collaborate on Technical ALM topics across multiple business stakeholders and drive change through various transformational initiatives. Key responsibilities include:
* Supports the transformational strategy across Interest Rate Risk and Funds Transfer Pricing to ensure the design and build of a best in class ALM function and meets the Consent Order objectives as they relate to Citis transformation
* Assists with the build of key internal and external Interest Rate Risk and FTP methodology, metrics, reporting and modelling to ensure alignment to Citis strategy
* Represents the ALM functional group across the global Consent Order transformational programs to ensure alignment to the ALM strategy and key dependencies
* Supports the rollout and coordination of a new global FTP engine and methodology across functional groups within Treasury, Business and Technology by leading detail discussions with senior stakeholders explaining key changes in the process, methodology and funding rates
* Supports IRR methodology and model transformation efforts and coordinates with the IRR, FTP and BSSO teams, while leveraging input from other key stakeholder groups
* Assists the IRR team in design requirements and implementation of an integrated forecasting platform partnering across Treasury, PPNR, Capital Planning, Finance and Technology
* Recommends, obtains consensus, and oversees complex strategic initiatives including execution of remediation plans of regulatory and Internal Audit commitments
* Identifies interdependencies impacting metrics, methodology and models across programs and initiatives to provides recommendations, where needed, for combining or connecting programs and initiatives to achieve greater target state capabilities
* Prepares presentations to Bank Regulators (FRB, OCC and FDIC)
* Prepares technical methodology, modeling and metrics materials for senior Treasury and stakeholder review, including C-Suite
* Provides analytical thought required to resolve issues in a variety of complex situations
* Skilled communication and executive presence with the ability to quickly adjust message based on audiences and agendas
Qualifications:
* A Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or related fields; advanced degree is a plus
* 5+ years of experience in Banking and Capital Markets Treasury Asset Liability Management, Interest Rate Risk, Funds Transfer Pricing and large complex transformational programs with managerial experience required
* Experience with Banking and Capital Markets Treasury, Asset Liability Management, Funds Transfer Pricing, Interest Rate Risk management, methodology and models
* Demonstrated ability to both independently and collaboratively solution completed and dynamic processes and the ability to work under pressure and in ambiguity
* Team player with an ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
