DataFlow System Engineer, Mid
Key Role:
Provide systems engineering and technical support for mission data governance operations and modernization efforts. Provide operations support for customer data flow requests, specify requirements for sharing data with external organizations and partners, coordinate with data flow service providers, and analyze processes, business rules, and functional requirements for mission systems that support data governance. Recommend, develop, and manage customer communications and engagement strategies in support of data sharing objectives, and help develop new or changed policies related to data sharing. Broaden expertise into areas like data governance, targeting, and smart data. Apply system engineering and mission data governance expertise to create modernized processes and systems supporting corporate data management for a national security client.
Basic Qualifications:
* 7+ years of experience with system engineering
* Experience with data flow or targeting management governance policies
* Experience with mission systems for data flow, data management, or data repositories
* Experience with developing capability level and functional requirements, mission scenarios, use cases, or business processes
* Experience with system or software integration or testing
* Experience with using Microsoft Visio, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Knowledge of the signals intelligence (SIGINT) life cycle
* TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
* BA or BS degree or 12+ years of experience with system engineering in lieu of a degree
Additional Qualifications:
* Experience in defining requirements, architecture, or design elements for systems or software that deal with external data exchanges
* Experience with client agency SMART data efforts
* Knowledge of general distributed processing methodology and Cloud-based architectures and technology
* Knowledge of agency policies and directives as they apply to IT SIGINT collection, dataflow, and information sharing with internal and external partners
* Knowledge of mission data formats and legal authorities for mission data
