Job Description
The Senior Compensation Consultant researches, analyzes, and assists in the design and development of compensation programs to meet business line and corporate objectives. Within this role, you will act as a resource to the CVS Retail organization through compensation analysis, role evaluation, and salary administration. You will work as part of a cohesive team providing compensation support within the group by maintaining resource tools, conducting research, analysis and forming proposals.

Responsibilities:
- Provide ongoing support and consultative services to Human Resources and line managers in the interpretation of compensation policy, explanation of operating procedures, and recommendation of alternatives to effectively meet respective business needs
- Analyze peer company survey data to ensure the existence of a competitive compensation structure
- Support team members through ad hoc projects and analysis
- Create reporting using market and cost analysis to assess current pricing and/or policies
- Evaluate jobs using survey data maintained in our pricing tool, Market Pay
- Participate in the development of Compensation systems by testing business requirements and providing feedback
- Respond to inquiries during the annual and midyear Merit/Bonus planning cycles
- Conduct ad-hoc salary recommendations
- Create, enhance and/or implement communication materials and pay for performance tools
- Maintain databases to facilitate incentive payment processing,
- Maintain Geographic store alignment database and monitor regulatory Minimum Wage rates across the country to support compensation analyses

Required Qualifications
- 1+ year experience with a Human Resource or analysis and reporting background
- 1+ year experience with Microsoft Excel. Must be able to work with vlook ups, pivot tables, tables, and large data sets and data manipulation

Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant work experience
- Microsoft Access experience
- Strong communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Compensation and/or Finance experience is strongly preferred

Education
- Bachelor's Degree required
