About the Customer Support Representative II role:

The primary role of this position is to provide accurate and timely solutions on products or services to meet customer demands. A solution could result in issuing a return, credit memo, no charges, billing, give-a-way, free freight, inventory check, or shipment trace. The Customer Support Representative II helps to exceed a customers expectations by investigating problems and providing the correct solution within company guidelines.

* Provide prompt, accurate answers to internal and external customers through telephone, online, and email

* Enter customer orders into the companys order entry database

* Assist with requests on pricing, shipping, product availability, terms and conditions, stock issues & order expedites

* Enter new accounts and update existing accounts with accurate billing, shipping, and contact information

* Handle customer complaints and problems in accordance with established business practices

* Initiate no charge orders, returns, warranty replacement orders, billings, vertical markets & commissions

* Handle web order & profile linking, website password administration & promotions

* Act as liaison/customer advocate collaborating with other Hach departments

* Identify sales opportunities and offer appropriate up-sell and cross-sell opportunities to the customers

Are you qualified?

* High School diploma required; Post-secondary education preferred

* Expressed aptitude for working in Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, or related field

* 1-2 years of experience in customer service

* Ability to adapt to a fast-paced contact center environment with a strong emphasis on multi-tasking while actively listening to customers

* Demonstrated computer proficiency; Experience with MS Office, Salesforce, and Oracle preferred

* Cisco, Upstream, and Windows 7 OS software experience preferred

The salary range for this role is $34,600 - $57,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado. This range may be modified in the future.
