Description:
The Data Management Professional (DMP) will be required to support both unclassified and classified program at the Manassas, Virginia facility. The DMP will provide data management support to the Program Management Office (PMO), Configuration Management (CM), and project teams, as the need arises, for domestic and international programs.

Under the supervision and direction of the Configuration and Data Management (CDM) manager, and/or program manager, the DMP will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and execution of Data Management (DM) activities relative to:

Defining DM requirements and developing Data Management plans for a project life-cycle involving all relevant partners

Monitoring product data delivery schedule to ensure on time delivery. Establishing and implementing a method for the receipt, processing, review, approval/rejection, and re-submittal of data products delivered

Crafting and addressing project teams status of data product deliveries

Identifying and supporting the implementation of DM repositories (i.e. Enterprise Product Data Management) and other DM tools required to facilitate data scheduling, tracking, distribution and delivery

- Customer interface and contractor support for Data Management tasks funded from the PMO, engineering, other functional organizations

Inputting, tracking, coordinating and reporting contractual data deliverables schedule, coordination, tracking, distribution. Prepare and report DM performance metrics derived from the project DM processes

- Establish and maintain the program data repository and vital records program

- Ensure contractual requirements for accurate data marking, handling, and retention are communicated across multiple programs are met

- Coordinate DM activities with assigned project.
Basic Qualifications:
- Interim Clearance to start

- Must be an effective communicator, interpersonal and leadership skills

- Experience with Enterprise Product Data Management repositories

- Experience working in a teaming environment

- Must have some experience with defining and implementing Data Management (DM) requirements, principles, processes and tools

- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
