Description

Ensures high quality and timely integrity inspections in assigned areas. Monitors maintenance activities that occur during turnarounds, capital construction projects, and routine maintenance.

* Monitors the long-term serviceability, safety and reliability of plant equipment through routine monitoring programs and planned internal and external inspections.
* Performs internal and external inspections per schedule in assigned area.
* Has the ability to respond and report on inspection findings and operation issues as needed.
* Generates complete and accurate inspection reports in Plant Condition Management Software (PCMS).
* Coordinates and directs the daily activities of outside inspection contractors during turnarounds and special activities.
* Stewards thickness-monitoring program in assigned complex per KPI list and reviews data in accordance to mechanical integrity procedures.
* Evaluates corrosion monitoring data, predicts equipment life and adjusts inspection intervals as required.
* Inspects and monitors all repair and construction work per plan and that it adheres to specifications and/or code requirements.
* Performs installation and external inspections on safety relief devices including pressure vacuum relief vents (PVRV) and rupture disks.
* May maintain fixed equipment inspection procedures as assigned.
* Participates in the PCMS & RBI processes, interfacing with Operations, Maintenance and Engineering.
* Performs Inspection and Turnaround planning in accordance with site procedures and RBI.
* Monitors temporary repairs per schedule and works with the unit complex to ensure the process to install temporary repairs is followed.
* May coordinate state annual boiler inspections.
* Performs other duties as assigned.

This position is salaried exempt status, which means you are not eligible for overtime pay.
