Saint Simons By-The-Sea Hospital is a 101 bed psychiatric and addictive disease hospital for adults and adolescents. We strive to provide quality mental health treatment and addiction treatment services in the area. Located on Saint Simons Island, Ga., Saint Simons By-The-Sea's serene island setting ensures privacy and anonymity, enabling the patient to concentrate on recovery. Our hospital is conveniently located within driving distance of Jacksonville, FL, Savannah, GA, and other surrounding cities in the South Georgia and Northern Florida region. Saint Simons By-The-Sea's staff has extensive experience in the fields of addiction treatment, recovery, relapse prevention and mental health treatment.

Saint Simons By-The-Sea Hospital is seeking an IOP Manager, who is responsible for providing clinical supervision for outpatient services staff; developing and administering a comprehensive system of outpatient services that respond to the community's needs and supports the organization's overall mission, philosophy, and goals; integrating the management of the outpatient system into the organization's continuum of care; consistently monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of program services offered and monitors for program compliance with state and federal accreditation bodies.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following tasks:

* Providing ongoing supervision for IOP outpatient staff and ensures that quality programming occurs in the Intensive Outpatient Program.
* Identifying and ensuring the implementation of effective outpatient-based clinical services within the established market.
* Promoting effective communication between inpatient and outpatient staff through problem-solving, focused team meetings, prompt and accurate notification of procedural changes, etc.
* Communicating goals and objectives to service delivery and administrative support staff, resulting in an effective overall understanding of the outpatient.
* Ensuring the development and expansion of the outpatient system's referral base to reach prospective clinically appropriate service recipients.
* Meeting regularly with supervisor to review services, utilization levels, patient satisfaction, and related issues and factors; consistently comes to meetings adequately prepared.
* Overseeing the UM activity for all outpatient services patients to ensure precerts are complete, authorizations obtained, and continued reviews are done, as needed.
* Working closely with hospital to ensure next steps program is in place and potential referrals are identified and permitted to participate.
* Working with Business Development to promote outpatient services and educate the community, referral sources, first responders, as well as staff members on programming and mental health topics.

Qualifications

Job Requirements include:

* At least three (3) years' experience working in chemical dependency/mental health treatment
* Minimum of two (2) years supervisory/administrative experience.
* Must have a current licensure by the State of Georgia as a Clinical Social Worker or LPC.
