The Technology Development Program (TDP) is an initiative within Optum Technology (OT) that fuels early tech career success at Optum. We do this by partnering with Talent Acquisition to attract, hire, and retain diverse talent. We deliver an equitable early career experience by creating inclusive, learning-focused, and engaging community programming.

This associate director role will be accountable for managing Talent Acquisition and Human Capital partner relationships, leading talent programming, and ensuring we are supporting all diversity, equity and inclusion goals to align employee needs and business value.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Drive a global talent sourcing strategy to attract the best diverse talent possible
* Continue to build and iterate on our Early Career / TDP programming, scaling its best elements across OT
* Develop and execute a strategy to improve TDP alumni retention
* Manage communications to TDP alumni, managers, partners, and stakeholders
* Ensure the TA, onboarding, and programming experiences reflect diversity, equity and inclusion goals
* Drive alignment across Optum Tech and partners that support our recruiting and events strategies
* Collect and analyze key data we need to make strategic programming decisions

Required Qualifications:

* 5+ years in a role that has supported a matrixed organization
* 3+ years in a position driving corporate projects / programs
* 2+ years of experience working with one or more of the following: Human Capital, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, or Workforce Management
* Exposure to issues related to diversity, equity and inclusion
* If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener. Employees must comply with any state and local masking orders. Preferred Qualifications:

* Familiarity with Engineering culture, Agile, and product management practices
* Experience with large / complex program management
* Skilled at managing partner relationships within a matrixed environment
* Strong ability to operationalize and bring programs to life with little supervision
* Experience with data analysis to help drive decision making
* Financial acumen including budget creation / monitoring / management
* Experience with mentorship / development functions
* Experience with Change Management practices
* Strong desire to work as part of a collaborative team
* Strong organizational, planning, time management, decisioning, analysis, prioritization, conflict resolution and problem-solving skills

Colorado Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $94,500 to $171,700.
