The Prep Assistant will support the creation of images for Nordstrom and the online store. The Prep Assistant will be responsible for the prepping of merchandise for the daily shoots, based on volume needs. Flexibility in hours during peak periods will be required.

A day in the life

Provides detailed and professional preparation of merchandise for product and on-figure photography, including steaming and ironing

Possesses deep knowledge of the proper care and handling of a wide range of fabrics and materials

Provides accurate labeling and ticketing of merchandise at receipt, during shoot, and upon returning to the samples team

Maintains an accurate system of tracking and storing merchandise

Communicates with Vendor Asset Specialists, Stylists, and Assistant Stylists to ensure proper handling of merchandise throughout studio pipeline

Adheres to company and studio policies

You own this if you have

High volume, e-commerce assisting experience a plus

Skilled in building and maintaining positive working relationships

Strong attention to detail, organization and time management skills

Team player with the ability to work independently

Ability to maintain confidentiality and high ethical standards

Flexible, and able to respond immediately to business changes and priorities

Ability to lift 30 pounds

Nordstrom work experience preferred
