Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare is seeking a dynamic and talented Director for our PHP / IOP Program.

The Director of PHP / IOP Directs, develops and manages an effective IOP/PHP service for psychiatric patients. Works with other team members to assure appropriate care delivery consistent with internal / external standards. Serves as a member of an interdisciplinary team and carries a designated caseload. Identifying and developing new business and building community relationships. Verify/precertify insurance benefits as needed and communicate with the Business Office regarding benefits. Oversee general organization and service delivery for the program.

Key Responsibilities include:

Structures all PHP / IOP programming for the facility. Evaluates the clinical program utilizing the input and skills of the IOP/PHP staff and patients. Treatment modalities are appropriate to patients' age and diagnosis.

Assists in the evaluation of the clinical program, utilizing the input and skills of the IOP staff and patients.

Supervises PHP / IOP staff, to ensure effective utilization of employees, including: (a) selection and orientation of staff; (b) scheduling employees; (c) identifying and addressing training needs (including direct provision of in service training).

Review QI reports, results of patient satisfaction surveys, results of patient outcome studies to modify services when necessary.

Ensures that department documentation meets internal and external requirements.

Ensures that all precertification and insurance authorizations are completed in a timely manner.

Demonstrates skill in identifying viable potential referral sources, skill in building rapport with clients and assessing needs of prospective referral sources and Brentwood's ability to meet those needs.

Utilizes effective marketing skills to facilitate positive communication between the hospital and referral source; consistently able to overcome objectives expressed by customers; provides effective follow-up skills; effectively implements viable action plans responsive to customer's needs.

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

A Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field with a Mississippi license as an LMSW. LCSW, or LPC. Experience in developing and maintaining direct referral relationships in target markets and basic supervisory skills.
