We are the Innovative Air and Space Division, a rapidly growing business within the Surveillance and Exploration Sector of Jacobs that is leading the design and development of next generation radar systems. We have the corporate investment, infrastructure, subject matter experts, and strategic focus to enable you to be successful. Responsible for development and support of KEYW Radar Systems.

This position requires strong computer programming skills (C++, C, MatLAB, similar), image processing (formation, manipulation, exploitation) and signal processing techniques, as well as experience in hands-on hardware and software integration. In this job, you will work with other skilled Engineers to develop, test, field and maintain SAR Radar products and processing. You will also work directly with the customer and interface with the local and corporate teams.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:

-Experience in developing, building, fielding, and maintaining synthetic aperture radar (SAR) hardware, image processing, analysis, algorithm development and hands-on HW and SW integration.

-Basic understanding of electromagnetics and computational electromagnetics (CEM).

-Must have an understanding of signal processing and pattern recognition techniques with applications to radar.

-Must have a working knowledge of computer programming and software development including C++, MATLAB, Python, etc.

-Must have strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with customers and work well in a team.

-Familiarity with standard laboratory instrumentation, including oscilloscopes, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, time domain reflectometers, etc.

-Must be willing to Travel to support radar systems; Travel is typically less than 20%.

Preferred:

-Experience performing sensor exploitation algorithm development and testing.

-Experience with Linux, Xpatch, and SAF is a plus.

-Experience with performing integration and demonstration of sensor exploitation systems, multi-Int systems, multi-sensor systems and tools.

-Exploitation, Analysis & Production, and Dissemination Experimentation (PCPAD-X).

-Experience with Difficult Target Signature Discovery and Exploitation.

-Experience with Multi-Sensor Concepts for Autonomous ISR.

-Experience with Techniques for contested Environments.

-Experience with Wide Area Imagery Exploitation.

-Experience performing sensor exploitation algorithm development and testing.

-Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance.
