International Tax Director

Job Description

Facebook is seeking an International Tax Director to join its tax team. This position will be part of the International Tax Team that handles Facebook's global income tax issues and will report to the International Tax Director. Candidates must have the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment and work closely and proactively within the International Tax Team and numerous functional teams across our organization.

International Tax Director Responsibilities

* Assist with cross-border structuring and planning to support Facebooks different business initiatives

* Identify and resolve US international tax issues related to Subpart F inclusions, GILTI, FDII, foreign tax credits, etc.

* Manage US international tax filings prepared by outsourced service provider

* Model tax impacts of planning strategies, transfer pricing changes and audit settlements

* Assist in research and analyze the impact of tax legislation and regulatory proposals

* Provide US international tax support to IRS examinations, and other teams, including Finance, Legal and HR

Minimum Qualifications

* 15+ years of combined experience in Big 4 and/or a US multinational company

* Bachelors degree in Tax, Accounting or related field

* Tax technical skills in the areas of international tax, M&A, and transfer pricing

* Experience in planning, implementing, and managing international tax strategies

* Analytical skills, organizational and communication skills, and attention to details

* Experience in leading cross functional projects

Preferred Qualifications

* Master in Taxation or JD

* Experience in technology industry

* Experience operating independently in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with business partners
