Job Summary
This position is responsible for providing consistent high-quality service to all credit union members via walk-in, phone or email. Provides professional, knowledgeable and courteous service through all delivery channels by meeting deposit and non-real estate lending needs of members. Consistently provides an exceptional member experience by identifying needs and cross-selling appropriate credit union products & services. Responds to member questions, concerns and requests in a timely manner. Maintain safety & security of member, employee and credit union assets by adhering to regulations, policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities and Duties
* All teller responsibilities including; completing all members transactions, balancing, preparing cashiers checks, money orders, referrals, and answering any questions that come to the branch.
* Has proficiency of lending products, deposit products, HSAs and Individual Retirement Accounts.
* May act as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience when it comes to handling more complex questions and problems.
* Providing a positive member experience by listening and understanding needs and making it simple for them to do business with us. Working with members to expose them to our online and digital tools allowing them to self-serve.
* Up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge of all related policies and procedures and rules and regulations across deposit and lending processes.
* Open deposit accounts and loans (including but not limited to verifying eligibility of membership, ordering checks and/or debit cards, sending documents electronically, etc.).
* Analyze and process loan applications (including but not limited to pulling credit reports, verify debts, review income documents, explain reasons for denial and explore options for members when loans are denied, etc.).
* Ability to respond to members requests, problems and complaints, resolving issues and/or directing them to appropriate person for specific information and assistance.
* Ability to identify key issues and problems from partial/conflicting data and offers new, less obvious solutions and makes sound decisions.
* Responsible for relationship development, promotion of credit union products & services providing sales strategies, analysis of member needs and in-depth product knowledge to existing members and prospects via telephone.
* Maintain a cross-selling environment in the branch. Assist employees to maximize cross sell opportunities.
* Sales production which results in increase fee income and revenue.
Job Qualifications
* 1-year relevant experience required; 3+ years lending, sales and financial services experience preferred.
* Proven ability to generate results within a sales environment preferred.
* Solid knowledge of deposit and loan products.
* Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills along with a sales focus.
* Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure within tight time frames.
* Must have a positive attitude and be willing to work within a team environment.
