About the role:
The Manager II, Clinical Strategy works with business and scientific stakeholders (including Clinical Trials, Medical, Program Management, Marketing, R&D, Regulatory, Legal, and other groups) to develop clinical strategy.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Ensures team objectives and clinical strategy are aligned with business and clinical stakeholders, while incorporating a sound quality perspective. Provides quality assurance to make sure deliverables have high business impact, and ensures stakeholders have visibility to the teams work.
* Fosters cross functional collaboration, in particular leveraging critical input from Clinical Trials team to identify clinical strategy, and ensures stakeholder buy-in and linkages across all projects and considers cadence of deliverables.
* Develops strategies for data collection and leverage of all available clinical evidence.
* Develops external and internal business networks, provides insights on marketplace, technology and competitive trends to guide clinical research investments.
* Assesses risks and opportunities at a level commensurate with clinical impact considering long-term implications. Partners with key stakeholders to recommend Clinical Research strategies for both pre-market and post-market studies, maximizing risk/benefit profile.
* Manages divisional expectations for data needs, collection, and analysis to support regulatory submissions in all global regions. Assists in executing in-depth evaluations (analyzes literature to assess current available evidence), overviews, and meta-analyses of therapeutic arenas and technologies.
* Supports team with influence management, oversees and guarantees quality of multiple concurrent Clinical strategy programs and maintains context and objectivity to ensure data-based conclusions.

Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelors degree and 7+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
* Clinical trial experience required
* Clinical strategy experience required
* Participation on a product development (PDP) core team representing Clinical
Preferred Qualifications
* Ability to work collaboratively and influence a broad range of global stakeholders
* Ability to maintain strategic perspective and align activities with business vision and purpose
