Principal, Regulatory Technology Business Analyst and Program Manager

Job Description

The role's initial focus will be on transforming the firm's approach to managing program and project requirements generation, tracking and enhancements through the continued roll out of an Enterprise-wide requirements management application (Blueprint). Additionally, as the Firm transitions from a primarily Waterfall to an Agile environment, Blueprints use will evolve to capture changing requirements and integrate with our downstream systems (e.g. JIRA)

In implementing the Blueprint application, the incumbent also:

* Manages and oversees the end to end project management activities for the Blueprint implementation, including project reporting, project planning, issue / risk identification and tracking, scope management, estimation, client management, relationship management and other project documentation preparation for projects of high business complexity (involving multiple systems interfaces that are highly visible to the organization).

* Defines and manages the lifecycle from project initiation through to program closure. Manages and resolves risks, issues and dependencies.

* Measures and monitors program actuals, forecasts and budgets and updates plans with accurate, up-to-date information in a timely manner.

* Follows financial standards & processes (e.g. monthly external revenue accruals, software capitalization, procurement & external payments).

* Reports financial information and status to the required executive level through steering committees.

* Secures, leads, motivates and inspires the internal & external resources required to deliver the program. E
t
* stablishes the programs governance (e.g. sponsors, approvers, stakeholders). Manages Program Office Resources.

* Serves as a liaison between clients and internal technical groups to ensure delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to specification.
t
* Has regular contact among peers within the firm and externally, including regulators and professional organizations.
t
* Provides advice to internal clients on the implications of business trends, issues, operating environment changes and firm or business unit strategy.

Qualifications

t
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required. 10-12 years of total work experience preferred.
t
* Experience implementing a requirements tracking tool, coaching business analysts, project and program managers in not only how to use the Blueprint tool to capture requirements, but also how to structure requirements that ensure traceability, adaptability and scalability.

* Be well versed in facilitating both requirements tool adoption and evolution, including the ability to design and implement a roadmap for future Agile adaptation and scalability.

* Experience with requirements tracking and business analysis in both Agile and Waterfall environments is essential; knowledge of the Blueprint application would be a significant advantage as would certifications in project management (PMP), Agile (PMI-ACP or Certified Scrum Master (CSM)) and/or Business Analysis (CBAP).
