Position Summary
Under general direction, perform administrative responsibilities in support of the API business.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
* Process quotes and purchase orders efficiently and accurately.
* Review quotes against purchase order for accurate information.
* Correspond with buyers and technical engineers regarding prints and models.
* VIS Data Entry (Entry of New Jobs, Revisions of prints, Delivery dates, Entry of part numbers, Close Jobs).
* Process Work Orders for shop floor.
* Have management review new prints with old to see if there is a price or delivery impact.
* Pull information from customer websites or secured emails.
* Answer incoming calls and take messages when necessary.
* Greet visitors and ensure proper safety and security guidelines are followed.
* Order supplies as needed.
* File documents away in their appropriate locations.
Experience & Education
* High school diploma or GED required.
* 2 4 years office administration experience.
Required Skills
* Must comply with all applicable safety requirements, policies and procedures, while maintaining a clean, safe and orderly work environment.
* Must participate in required training, medical monitoring, safety, and health evaluations and programs.
* Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in all designated areas of facility.
* Perform all physical functions of position; standing, stooping, bending, sitting, walking, twisting, kneeling, turning and lifting of materials up to 35 lbs.
* Meet established attendance standards.
* Work overtime as needed.
Desired Skills
* Strong working knowledge in Microsoft office suite of products.
* Good organizational skills and ability to multitask.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
