Managing Consultant, Business Development, Data & Services

Overview
The Data & Services team is a key differentiator for Mastercard, providing the cutting-edge services that help our customers grow. Centered on data-driven technologies and innovation, these services include payments-focused consulting, loyalty and marketing programs, business Test & Learn experimentation, and data-driven information and risk management services.

Role
We are looking for a consultative seller with both an entrepreneurial and hunter mindset to join our Data and Services team, covering Fintech, Technology, Information Services, Consulting, and other emerging verticals.

Finding, developing and expanding opportunities for new business
Responsible for developing account-based sales strategy and new business in exciting sectors
Deliver against sales goals with YOY expectations
Will serve as the face of Mastercard D&S to senior level client stakeholders, including c-suite
Translate client objectives into key hypotheses and structure solutions based on Mastercards insights, loyalty and engagement solutions, analytics platforms, and consulting services
Manage cross-functional workstreams to create meaningful proposals and client engagements

All About You
Strong communication and influencing skills, should be a compelling presenter to senior client audiences and able to influence large deals
Consultative seller with both a hunter and start-up mentality
Intellectually curious about digital and fintech emerging trends, as well as new and emerging segments
Strong consultative sales skills, high-level thinking and execution, as well as the ability to influence peers in a matrixed organization
Demonstrated track record selling complex solutions
Proven ability to think outside the box, deal with ambiguity, champion projects, programs and business initiatives with high energy and ingenuity
Ability to nurture lasting relationships within the business and with existing and potential clients
Ability to navigate and lead negotiations to close business mutually beneficial to client
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Familiar with the data analytics and consulting sectors
Team player, who is comfortable in co-selling scenarios, working with account leads and/or developing net new relationships for D&S and broader Mastercard
Capable multi-tasker who can juggle multiple internal stakeholders, scopes, dozens of different products and a sizable client list
