Your Role and Responsibilities
This role is located ONSITE (after covid) RTP, NC.
No remote option (post covid).

Among other things our applications support our Pricing process and are built by self-directed, end-to-end development squads spread around the world. We are looking for a resourceful, motivated and creative application developer who will share and grow experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment and who has the desire to work with high performing teams!
You will work as a member of our co-located DevOps delivery squad and will collaborate with multiple squads around the world to provide technical leadership to enhance and support a global Pricing application critical to IBMs business.
Your responsibilities include software design and development, as well as executing the software development process to ensure operational excellence. Identifying and using DevOps tools for continuous integration, builds, and monitoring of solutions.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
* A minimum of 5 years experience in Angular, Python and Java languages
* A minimum of 5 years experience in Web Services, Rest API
* A minimum of 5 years experience in Linux operating system
* Demonstrated experience in continuous integration and continuous delivery concepts and tools
* Demonstrated experience in Cloud and WebApps, using NodeJS, Spring Boot
* Demonstrated experience in Microservices model, Containers, Docker, Kubernetes
* Demonstrated experience in DevOps practices, process and technologies such as SonarQube and Contrast
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
* Demonstrated experience in Test Driven Development (TDD) and automated testing
* Demonstrated experience in Agile approach
* Strong collaboration skills: Working in teams, communication, documentation, organization
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Strong work ethic and strong eagerness to learn
* Ability to be flexible as to schedules and work assignments, including possible on-call duty for deployments or support
