Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Test Automation Engineer, you should have 1-2 years of hands-on lead role
that requires writing test automation scripts using one of the Object-Oriented
programming languages like Java. You Should have experience with one of the
automated tools such as Rational Functional Tester, Selenium,
Quick Test Pro (QTP)/ Unified Functional Tester (UFT), and experience with
mobile and API testing. You should also have basic experience in Test Planning,
Execution, Defect Management and reporting process.
Candidates must have the ability to work in the United States without a current or future need for visa sponsorship.
Although this position is currently working remotely, this is not a permanent work from home position.
This position requires relocation to Michigan within 30 days of the office permanently reopening. This position will require up to 50% travel post-covid times.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
* 2+ years of experience working in an IT environment as a Test automation lead/engineer.
* Hands on experience in developing test automation scripts from scratch using Java or any other programming language that support OOP.
* Experience in one of the Test Automation tools Selenium, RFT, UFT.
* Experience in writing SQL queries.
* Experience in core JAVA/C, cucumber, python
* Experience in one of the Test Automation tools Selenium/ RFT/ UFT.
* Experience working with CI/CD cycle, Agile methodology and DevOps pipeline with Jenkins, Maven, GIT
* Experience with API Test Automation using at least one of the following SOAP UI/REST Assured/Postman.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Experience in scripting with languages like Java, C etc.
Experience in Test Automation tools (Selenium, UFT, RFT)
Experience with API Test Automation (SOAP UI/REST Assured/Postman)
Performance engineering experience when moving/migrating to cloud.
