HVAC Services Manager
Job Summary:
Primary function is to plan and manage EFO HVAC training and technical support, as well as provide subject matter expertise and management assistance across all levels of EFO HVAC operations. The intended purpose of this position is to improve the safety, quality, efficiency, consistency, and customer satisfaction across EFO's HVAC portfolio. This includes working closely with Human Resources, Business Analytics, and Field Leadership to ensure EFO maintains appropriate staffing levels and skillsets to meet the diverse set of customer requirements. Additionally, provide support to the EFO Director of Plans, Training, and Operations in establishing and maintaining clear, consistent, and effective standard operating procedures and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and appropriateness with regards to scopes of work, on-site communications, work order management activity, and field service report outputs. Work closely with Human Resources and Field Leadership to monitor HVAC technician performance and capability levels in a way that proactively identifies and remedies shortfalls through training and or coaching, while also recognizing and building upon exceptional performance and opportunity. Work closely with EFS Sr. Compliance Manager to help ensure all EFO and EFS HVAC licensing requirements are properly resourced. Serve as principal point of contact and liaison with all EFO account team partners to plan and integrate new HVAC opportunities into the EFO portfolio, as well as to continuously monitor existing business and seize opportunities for improvement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Develop and manage an EFO HVAC technician training and education program (includes curriculum and assessment development) that improves service quality and consistency across a diverse and geographically dispersed team of existing technicians, while also providing opportunities for internal HVAC technician development
* Assist Human Resources, Business Analytics, and Field Leadership in reoccurring, as well as event driven, staffing and performance assessments to ensure EFO maintains proper HVAC staffing and skillset levels
* Establish and maintain clear, consistent, and effective HVAC standard operating procedures and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and appropriateness with regards to scopes of work, on-site communications, work order management activity, and field service report outputs
* Work with EFS Sr. Compliance Manager to ensure all EFO and EFS HVAC licensing requirements are properly resourced and managed

Modify instructional material and methods based on technician and industry assessments and feedback. Identify, evaluate, and implement new instructional strategies and technologies. Integrate curriculum with other faculty in the department and in other instructional areas/ institutions. Identify and develop core and support courses
* Serve as principal point of contact and liaison with all EFO account team partners to plan and integrate new HVAC opportunities into the EFO portfolio, as well as to continuously monitor existing business and seize opportunities for improvement
Education:
* Undergraduate degree in related field (Engineering, Construction Management), or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Qualifications:
* Minimum of 10 years of commercial/industrial HVAC service and management experience; Additional experience in trades-based training and education is desirable
* Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, HVAC Control Programs, and e-mail communication. Strong written and verbal communication skills required
Licenses/Certifications:
Active Master and or Contractor level HVAC license holder in one or more states
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Additionally, field visits, inspections, and training will routinely require a moderate level of physical activity in the form of lift, turning, pushing, or pulling. Must be able to distinguish between colors.
Work Environment:
The work environment is an office setting as well as customer locations, construction sites, manufacturing plants, and various client locations. Some overnight travel required.
