CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
The Buy Right Coupa Intern position exists to support our Coupa Procure to Pay software investments and business processes to transform and optimize the indirect procure to pay process of Sherwin Williams. This position supports test completion in our non-production environment for solution/enhancement unit testing as well as monthly regression testing. The interns testing work safeguards our production processes, interfaces and reports that affect the delivery of financial or business information.
The intern follows a disciplined process that assists with financial process improvement definition, pulls together data for analysis and assists with tasks as assigned by their supervisor. This position works mostly support and testing activities and, at times, will support enhancement or project work as their experience and knowledge grow.
The intern possesses a basic understanding of business processes and software technical understanding from their education achieved and/or prior work experiences. The intern role works on a consistent basis with their supervisor and on a limited basis with our Supplier Enablement and Buyer roles.
Responsibilities as assigned by supervisor:
Responsible for all functional and technical design, configuration, implementation, maintenance and testing of the Coupa Procure-to-Pay system.
* Support the Coupa application, performing user training and maintaining procedural documentation
* Participate in the testing of the configured system, support of the configured system after go-live, ongoing configuration and integration support of the configured system, and support for all Coupa upgrades
* Maintain documentation and for all segments of the Coupa platform.
* Maintain system data and access including, users, approvers, vendors and FSS organization
* Be a resource to assist the Coupa business community in the development of ad-hoc reports or queries using various tools. This will require the ability to understand data structures and analyze data retrievals.
**This is a 6 month internship. Looking for a student who can start in April, 2021 and work an average of 25 hours per week.

Required:
Actively pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, IT or business-related field.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
Required

* Basic systems/process orientation with demonstrated critical, analytical thinking, organization and problem solving.

Preferred:
* Accounts Payable, Procurement or IT experience preferred
* Experience with Software as a Service is a plus as is any experience with financial accounting, customer management, and sales force automation software
