Ecolabs Institutional Division is seeking a creative instructional designer with a passion for sales enablement to join our Learning Experience team. The Sales Enablement Learning Experience Designer will design and develop learning experiences that drive commercial outcomes and improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our salesforce. Supporting our Field Sales, Channel, and Corporate Account sales teams, this role will develop best-in-class sales training solutions including product and equipment knowledge, hunter/farmer sales skills, and sales systems training (Salesforce.com, LinkedIn Navigator, and PowerBI). This role requires skill in adult learning, instructional design, multimedia development, and training.
What will you do:
* Empower our sales and service associates to deliver the best customer outcomes and create a world-class customer experience through an innovative sales learning curriculum and performance support.
* Design scalable, extended sales onboarding program that incorporates live, online, hands-on and mentor-based training for all go to market roles.
* Establish new hire certification process by role and create coaching matrix for sales leader once extended onboarding period has concluded.
* Build the framework for role-based learning journeys for the various sales roles.
* Identify sales reinforcement topics and develop training and activities to improve sales readiness and effectiveness for tenured associates.
* Apply knowledge and skills in instructional design, development processes, tools, strategies, delivery, and evaluation methods to enable best in class sales and service.
* Design and develop all types of learning solutions using a variety of development tools that exemplify good practices in instructional design.
* Communicate effectively through active listening to understand our customer needs, and clearly articulate your intent based on those needs and the style preferences of individual customers.
* Demonstrate strong project management and ability to lead, design and develop large-scale projects with tight deadlines.
* Be nimble, resilient and adaptable to the ever-changing environment of learning and offer creative solutions based on both experience and industry trends.
* Stay current on learning theory, instructional design, delivery methods, and best practices with a focus on sales enablement.
Minimum Qualifications
* Completed Bachelors Degree.
* 5+ years of experience directly related to instructional design; competency-based program design; innovative classroom design; complex, multi-media-rich e-learning experience design; hands-on digital and experience design; and/or instructional technology.
* Experience with sales enablement technologies, processes, and best practices. Salesforce and LMS experience preferred.
* Expertise in modern consultative sales methodologies, sales process, and buyers journey alignment.
* Experience with sales management best practices, including pipeline management and developmental sales coaching.
* Expert with Microsoft Tools (PowerPoint, Word, Teams, SharePoint), Adobe Suite, Articulate Suite, WebEx Training Center, and/or other related talent technology and social collaboration tools.
Preferred
* Masters degree completed.
* Professional certification in learning, organizational development, human resources, or leadership development.
* Certification in, or experience with Wilson Learnings Counselor Salesperson (CSP).
* Certification in, or experience using, Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
* Proficiency with content standards, such as SCORM and AICC; web development such as HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, and WordPress; and content development tools, such as Articulate 360.
* Knowledge of DevOps, infrastructure, and app delivery automation solutions and technologies.
* Ability and passion for creating modern, visually appealing content for todays learners that is aesthetically pleasing and easy to consume including PowerPoint, job aids, digital content, eBooks, eLearning, etc.
* Understanding of current and emerging instructional design principles and learner-centered design methodologies with a demonstrated application through innovative learning experiences.
* Act as a change agent who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments that are dynamic and continually evolving. You have experience managing many concurrent interconnected training initiatives in complex matrixed environments and experience making actionable decisions in the absence of perfect information.
